Led by Destination BC, this work supported climate risk screening for a diverse set of tourism businesses across British Columbia, including hospitality assets, nature-based resorts, farms, vineyards and wineries, marinas, and member-based organizations. The aim was to give individual businesses a clearer view of climate exposure and disruption risk in a form that could support practical planning and funding applications.

Kinetica Risk provided quantitative climate hazard reporting, high-level asset and disruption screening, and mitigation option identification, while also working directly with businesses through online sessions for knowledge transfer and coaching. The resulting output supported both adaptation planning and stronger business cases for climate-focused funding applications.
