Metro Manila Education Portfolio Risk Assessment

Locally tailored multi-hazard portfolio analysis for school-system resilience planning

Kinetica Risk supported a large-scale resilience study for more than 1,000 education facilities in Metro Manila, combining earthquake and flood analysis across a highly diverse school portfolio. The work used locally tailored building archetypes to reflect the range of educational, administrative, and public-use structures represented in the system.

The resulting outputs included damage maps, mitigation options, and before-versus-after comparisons to support prioritization and capital planning. By structuring the work at portfolio scale, the study helped turn multi-hazard risk into actionable planning inputs rather than isolated building-by-building assessments.
